Novice (5 teams each for Womens Doubles, Mens Doubles, and Mixed Doubles)
Intermediate (5 teams each for Womens Doubles, Mens Doubles, and Mixed Doubles)

Rally scoring, patterned to MLP (Major League Pickleball) will be used for all matches where a team can score a point whether they served the ball or not. Games are played to 21 (sudden death if tied at 20). You can only earn your winning point while serving.

Single round robin will be played during eliminations. Top 1st and 2nd teams based on games won will advance to championship match (to determime Gold and Silver). Top 3rd team will be Bronze.

Ideally you should register as a doubles team. But if you do not have a partner, you can join as a free agent or solo for now. We will then coordinate with all registered free agents to form teams.

Novice (skills self-rating level: 2.0 – 2.5)

1.0 - 2.0 skill rating: This player is just starting to play pickleball and has no other sports background. Minimal understanding of rules of the game. 2.5 skill rating: This player has limited experience. Can sustain a short rally with players of equal ability. Basic ability to keep score.

Intermediate (skills self-rating level: 3.0 – 3.5)

FOREHAND: Ability to hit a medium paced shot. Lacks directional intent and consistency.
BACKHAND: Avoids using a backhand. Lacks directional intent and consistency
SERVE / RETURN: Able to hit a medium paced shot. Lacks depth, direction, and consistency.
DINK: Not able to consistently sustain a dink rally. Not yet developed the ability to control this shot.
3RD SHOT: Generally hits a medium paced ball with little direction.
VOLLEY: Able to hit a medium paced shot. Lacks direction/inconsistent.
STRATEGY: Understands fundamentals. Is learning proper court positioning. Knows the fundamental rules and can keep score and is now playing tournaments.

Tournament Registration Fee

Registration Fee: P1,000 per player. Registration deadline: April 6, 2025.
Fee is inclusive of water, ice, and official Philippine Beach Games 2025 shirt. Prizes and giveaways (worth P20,000) from our generous sponsors await participants including Joola paddles and balls to be raffled off.

Reclub app will be used to record scores and all matches will be submitted to DUPR. We highly encourage all participants to create their Reclub and DUPR accounts by following the steps below.

STEP 1: On your mobile phone, download and install Reclub app. When you create your Reclub account, please use your real name and add pickleball as one of your sports. Upload a profile image for easier identifcation.

STEP 2: On the same mobile phone, download and install the DUPR app (use the same email address used in Reclub). Create your DUPR account.

STEP 3: Connect your DUPR to your Reclub. In your Reclub profile, under sports, scroll to pickleball and tap the word “connect” under the DUPR logo. Follow the prompts to sync your account via your DUPR ID. Check out this video.

Join competition via Reclub!

Click below to join. Both players must join the tournament meet via Reclub. You can join an existing empty team (ex. Team 1) or create a new team. Entries will be put on hold and will only be confirmed once registration fee is paid and proof of payment screenshot has been uploaded. The organizers will finalize the teams and match schedules in Reclub before tournament day.
